## Job description

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care Ortho Surgical, working full-time night shifts. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care through the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation). Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, partner with patients and families, and ensure cultural competence. Promote evidence-based practice, participate in performance improvement, and support research activities. Coordinate care, develop protocols, and optimize resource use to improve patient outcomes. Uphold professional standards, policies, and ethics, serving as a preceptor or mentor to foster workforce development. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience. Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred. Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact). BLS certification required upon hire. Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills; proficiency with technology and basic computer skills; ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment; critical thinking and analytical skills; ability to respond decisively to emergencies and manage time effectively.
