## Job description

Role Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care within an interdisciplinary team in an acute care orthopedic surgical setting. They utilize evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The RN partners with patients and families, ensuring culturally sensitive, relationship-based care that aligns with patient goals. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments and coordinate care to optimize patient outcomes. Deliver patient-centered care, adapting to diverse populations and promoting safety and quality standards. Collaborate with team members through effective communication and documentation. Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practices. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional growth and workforce development. Participate in protocol development, data collection, and resource management to enhance care delivery. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience. Current RN licensure (single-state or multi-state Compact) and BLS certification. Associate or Diploma Nursing degree required; Bachelor’s preferred. Proficient in English, with strong interpersonal, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and respond calmly to emergencies.
