## Job description

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care Ortho Surgical, providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Perform nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practices. Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to individual patient needs. Partner with patients and families, utilizing effective communication methods like bedside reports and education. Ensure safe, quality care via interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, and adherence to clinical standards. Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice activities. Mentor and serve as a preceptor for other staff and students, fostering a healthy work environment. Participate in protocol development and resource management to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Minimum two years of direct patient care nursing experience. Current RN license (single or multi-state compact) and BLS certification. Associates or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred. Proficiency in English, strong interpersonal, collaboration, time management, and critical thinking skills. Ability to use technology effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies decisively.
