## Job description

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral member of an interdisciplinary care team, delivering high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care in a clinical setting. They practice according to evidence-based standards, the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, and the ANA Code of Ethics, advocating for patient needs and system policies. Key Responsibilities Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—tailored to individual patient needs while utilizing analytical and critical thinking skills. Provide relationship-based care that respects cultural diversity, involving patients and families in care planning and education. Coordinate and document safe, quality care through effective communication and teamwork, supporting performance improvement and shared governance initiatives. Engage in ongoing professional development, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and promote evidence-based practice and research activities. Develop protocols and support resource management to optimize patient outcomes and system efficiency. Qualifications & Skills Associates Degree or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelors preferred. Active RN license (single or multi-state compact) and BLS certification. Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience. Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond decisively in emergencies. Excellent time management, critical thinking, and collaborative skills. Additional Requirements: Uphold organizational policies, participate in quality improvement, and support safe, equitable patient care across the continuum.
