## Job description

Role Overview: This position involves providing high-quality, personalized nursing care as part of a dynamic, multi-campus Med Surg team supporting a healthcare organization. The RN will apply evidence-based practices, build strong patient and family connections, and contribute to improving care outcomes. Key Responsibilities Own the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, ensuring individualized care. Foster a respectful, collaborative environment and contribute to team engagement. Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance initiatives. Lead in applying evidence-based practices and support continuous patient safety improvements. Proactively plan care across the patient journey, shaping protocols to enhance experiences and reduce readmissions. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred). Valid RN license (single or multi-state compact). Current BLS and ACLS certifications; national specialty certification preferred. Minimum of 2+ years recent Med Surg experience and experience with data entry. Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems is a plus. Must-Have Skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic technology tools. Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage clinical emergencies. Strong critical thinking, time management, and evidence-based decision-making abilities.
