## Job description

Role Overview: This position involves providing high-quality, evidence-based nursing care within a dynamic Med Surg team supporting multiple campuses. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, fostering meaningful patient and family relationships while ensuring optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities Deliver personalized nursing care by owning the entire nursing process. Build strong connections with patients and families, respecting their values and care goals. Collaborate with team members to create a safe, respectful environment and contribute to performance improvement initiatives. Lead and participate in evidence-based practices, research, and patient safety efforts. Proactively manage resources and care planning throughout the patient journey to enhance experiences and reduce readmissions. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. RN license (single state or multi-state), BLS, and ACLS certifications required. Minimum of 2+ years recent Med Surg experience with proficiency in computer data entry. Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems is a plus. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and technical skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong critical thinking, time management, and decision-making abilities.
