## Job description

Role Overview: Join a dynamic Med Surg RN team supporting multiple care campuses in a high-impact environment. You will deliver personalized, evidence-based nursing care, foster meaningful patient and family relationships, and contribute to clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities Manage the full nursing process from assessment to evaluation, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Build strong connections with patients and families, respecting their values and care goals. Collaborate effectively within a team, promoting a safe, respectful environment. Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance initiatives. Lead and apply evidence-based practices, supporting continuous quality improvement. Plan and coordinate patient care across the treatment journey, optimizing resource use. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required); BSN preferred. Current RN license (single or multi-state) and BLS certification (required); ACLS certification (required). At least 2 years of recent Med Surg experience and proficiency in computer data entry. Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems (preferred). Excellent interpersonal, communication, and technical skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure, with strong critical thinking and time management skills. Additional Qualities: Commitment to ongoing professional development, mentorship, and applying research to enhance patient care.
