## Job description

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care - Medical, providing high-quality, safe patient care within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Collaborate with licensed and unlicensed caregivers to deliver personalized care to patients and families. Operate within a clinical environment supported by Nurse Managers and the WellStar Shared Governance Model. Follow the WellStar Professional Practice Model, 5-Star Nursing standards, and evidence-based practices. Maintain licensure and adhere to the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics, and scope of practice. Uphold system policies, contribute to service excellence, and advocate for patient needs. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current RN license in Georgia or privilege under eNLC. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Experience with direct patient care; specialty certification is a plus. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, respond to emergencies, and demonstrate critical thinking and time management skills. Proficiency in technology and basic computer skills.
