## Job description

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care provides high-quality, safe patient care as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team. They practice under the guidance of Nurse Managers within a clinical environment supported by shared governance and evidence-based practices, ensuring adherence to professional standards and ethical codes. Key Responsibilities Deliver individualized patient care, supporting patient and family needs. Collaborate with licensed and unlicensed caregivers to ensure optimal outcomes. Uphold policies, procedures, and patient advocacy within a fast-paced environment. Follow the WellStar Professional Practice Model and research-based practices. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current RN licensure in Georgia or eNLC eligibility. Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Experience with direct patient care; national certification in specialty preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Proficiency in technology, critical thinking, time management, and emergency response.
