## Job description

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized, high-quality, safe patient care in a clinical setting. They follow evidence-based practices, uphold the nursing scope of practice, and adhere to ethical standards, ensuring patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity. Responsibilities Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—focusing on personalized care and optimal outcomes. Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making. Coordinate and document safe, quality care, supporting a respectful and inclusive environment. Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities to promote safety and best practices. Support professional development by completing competency assessments, mentoring, and serving as a preceptor. Engage in evidence-based practice, data collection, and protocol development to enhance patient outcomes. Qualifications Associates or Bachelors in Nursing preferred; licensed as RN (single or multi-state compact). Certifications: BLS required at hire; additional certifications may be needed. Less than one year of nursing experience or completion of an accredited nursing program with clinical hours preferred. Skills: Critical thinking, effective communication, teamwork, adaptability to diverse populations, commitment to safety, and continuous learning.
