Key Responsibilities Perform patient assessments and collaborate with healthcare teams to plan care. Administer aerosolized medications, manage ventilators, and interpret waveforms. Conduct airway management procedures such as intubation and extubation. Educate patients, families, and new staff; participate in process improvements. Ensure safety through accurate documentation, adherence to protocols, and quality initiatives. Support invasive and non-invasive procedures and pulmonary diagnostics where applicable. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with a minimum of 20 science hours; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Certifications: NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (or provisional), all required upon hire. 0-2 years clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care. Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills; ability to build professional relationships.
