Key Responsibilities Lead shift activities by analyzing patient needs, assigning tasks based on staff competency, and ensuring safe care delivery. Foster interdisciplinary communication for timely patient care and discharge planning. Evaluate staff performance, provide clinical assistance, and support staff education and training. Monitor equipment, manage staffing levels, and ensure resource availability. Participate in process improvement, safety, and quality initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Conduct patient rounds to assess care quality and implement corrective actions as needed. Qualifications & Skills Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred. Current certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT or RCP. Minimum of two years of clinical experience across critical care areas such as ICU, NICU, ER, etc. Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills to support a multidisciplinary team.
