They deliver patient-centered care, educate patients and staff, and participate in staff development and procedural procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform patient assessments and collaborate with the healthcare team in planning care. Manage ventilators, including weaning, airway management, and graphic interpretation. Administer aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and other treatments per verified orders. Conduct arterial blood gas sampling and analysis. Educate patients and mentor new employees, students, and peers. Ensure safe and quality care by promoting accurate documentation, patient safety, and evidence-based practices. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with science coursework; Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's preferred. 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with computer systems and databases. Licenses & Certifications Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Respiratory Care Professional certifications.
