## Job description

Role: The Respiratory Therapist II provides advanced respiratory care, including medication administration, ventilator management, airway procedures, and patient assessments in critical care settings. Responsibilities: Deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with healthcare team members, educate patients and staff, and promote high-quality, safe practices. Tasks include aerosolized therapy, arterial blood gas analysis, invasive and non-invasive procedures, documentation, and supporting performance improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Skills: Requires a minimum of 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care. Must hold current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT certifications. Strong communication, critical thinking, relationship-building, and computer skills are essential. A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy is preferred. Additional Duties: Participate in staff development, support a team environment, ensure compliance with policies, and assist in education of new employees and students.
