Demonstrates proficiency in invasive and non-invasive procedures, manages respiratory medications, and remains current with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Develops and oversees respiratory care plans, serving as a consultant across hospital departments. Provides clinical expertise in airway management, ABGs, electrolytes, and emergency procedures. Participates in quality improvement, patient discharge, and education for patients, families, and clinical team members. Supports new staff and student training, maintains certifications in BLS and ACLS, and ensures documentation accuracy. Prioritizes care during high acuity situations, manages clinical equipment, and follows infection control protocols. Qualifications & Skills Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required; Bachelor's preferred. Licenses and certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS, and Georgia Respiratory Care license. Minimum of 1 year in Respiratory Care; 2+ years in Critical Care preferred.
