## Job description

Role: Respiratory Therapist II Responsibilities: Administering medications, implementing respiratory care, managing ventilators, performing assessments, and collaborating with healthcare teams in critical care settings. Provides patient and family education, participates in procedures, and mentors staff and students. Ensures safe, high-quality care by promoting accurate documentation, adherence to safety protocols, and supporting performance improvement initiatives. Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy; NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, and ACLS certifications required. 0-2 years of clinical experience, including at least 6 months in critical care. Skills: Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and computer skills. Ability to establish professional relationships with healthcare providers and deliver compassionate patient care. Additional duties include: Supporting a positive work environment, promoting evidence-based practices, and participating in staff development and patient education activities.
