09 October Hertz Georgia is seeking a customer-focused, reliable and energetic Rental Agent to manage vehicle handovers and returns, guide customers through the rental process, maintain accurate documentation, and help ensure vehicles remain ready for service. This role combines hands-on customer service, rental administration, and coordination with our technical team. Rental Agent LOCATION: Tbilisi, Georgia EMPLOYMENT: Full-time EMAIL: a.rekhviashvili@hertz.com.ge KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: ** Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming first impression and understanding their rental needs. ** Complete rental and return transactions accurately and efficiently, including the required documentation and vehicle handover and return checks. ** Complete and process rental agreements accurately, ensure all required information is recorded, and follow updated company standards when introduced. ** Communicate with customers throughout the rental process, respond to enquiries promptly, and coordinate the resolution of booking or vehicle-rental issues. ** Process and scan customer and rental documentation as required to support compliance with applicable local requirements. ** Coordinate customers through the vehicle-selection process and recommend suitable rental options based on their needs, preferences, and availability. ** Introduce and explain approved additional services, including insurance packages, GPS, Wi-Fi, additional drivers, child seats, and other available products, in line with customer needs and company standards. ** Explain relevant local traffic rules and regulations, including speed limits, parking requirements, and potential fines. ** Provide customers with directions and practical travel information using maps or GPS tools when available. ** Check that vehicles are clean, presentable, technically ready, and suitable for customer pick-up; report defects or damage promptly. ** Monitor the technical condition of vehicles and participate in the repair or replacement process when required. ** Coordinate with technical service centres and suppliers regarding vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs. ** Follow company policies and procedures to protect company assets, maintain service quality, and support a smooth customer experience. ** Communicate relevant customer feedback and recurring issues to the manager or team to support continuous service improvement. ** Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve operational, customer-service, and sales targets. ** Perform other related duties assigned by the direct manager within the scope of the role. WHAT YOU`LL BRING: ** Excellent command of English, with strong speaking and writing skills. ** Strong working knowledge of Russian for customer communication and fluent Georgian. ** Category B driver`s licence and at least three years of driving experience. ** Higher education is preferred. ** Previous experience in customer service, car rental, tourism, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing role is an advantage. ** Strong communication, active-listening, customer-service, sales, and problem-solving skills. ** Positive, customer-focused attitude and confidence in recommending suitable rental options and approved additional services. ** Accuracy and attention to detail when preparing contracts, processing documents, and handling vehicle handovers. ** Basic computer literacy and the ability to work with digital booking, documentation, and communication tools. ** Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a responsible and professional approach. ** Flexibility to work according to operational needs. ** Basic social-media literacy, including the ability to support approved posts and monitor customer messages when required.
