Retail Director

Fami Group has been one of the leading companies in Armenia’s fashion retail industry for more than 20 years, representing internationally recognized brands such as Penti, LC Waikiki, Cool Club, and Sela , as well as operating the Fami multi-brand store network. Today, Fami Group operates 22 stores in Armenia and, over the past year, has been actively expanding its presence in Georgia as the official representative of the Cool Club brand. We currently operate two stores in Tbilisi and aim to continue growing and developing our business in the Georgian market. We continue to grow and expand, building our success on creativity, professionalism, teamwork, and new ideas. At this stage of our development, we are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Director who will take responsibility for managing Fami Group’s retail business in Georgia, lead the operations of our existing stores, and actively contribute to the further growth and development of the business. Responsibilities Lead the sales and operational activities of Fami Group stores in Georgia. Ensure the achievement of sales targets and established KPIs. Analyze store sales, financial, and operational performance, identify deviations, and develop improvement action plans. Organize and oversee the work of store managers and teams, ensuring their development and effectiveness. Participate in employee recruitment, onboarding, motivation, and retention processes, contributing to the reduction of staff turnover. Ensure the implementation and consistent application of Fami Group’s and represented brands’ customer service and operational standards. Oversee product ordering and ensure effective inventory management. Supervise inventory counts, merchandise losses, and the safeguarding of company assets. Ensure the proper implementation in Georgia of marketing campaigns approved by the Head Office in Armenia. Regularly analyze the Georgian retail market, competitors, and customer behavior and provide recommendations for business development. Cooperate with local partners, suppliers, and service providers. When required, coordinate import, customs clearance, transportation, and product delivery processes to stores. Cooperate closely with Fami Group’s Head Office in Armenia. Prepare and present regular reports on sales, team performance, financial, inventory, and operational indicators. Participate in the development of Fami Group’s retail network in Georgia, including new store openings and improvement of existing processes. Lead and coordinate new store opening projects. Ensure compliance with the Company’s corporate standards, internal procedures, and safety requirements. Requirements Higher education degree. At least 6 years of professional experience in the retail sector, including at least 4 years in a managerial position. Proven experience managing multiple stores, branches, or a retail network. Experience working with sales plans, KPIs, and key business performance indicators. Strong sales and business mindset. Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Strong management and leadership skills. Ability to build, develop, and lead teams toward achieving results. Customer-oriented mindset. Ability to quickly identify problems and propose practical solutions. High level of responsibility and results orientation. Ability to set priorities effectively and manage multiple processes in a changing business environment. Fluency in Georgian is mandatory . English and Russian at a working communication level. Knowledge of Armenian will be considered an advantage. Advanced knowledge of MS Office. Experience working with 1C software. What We Offer A leadership role within Fami Group’s business in Georgia.
