## Job description

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) in this acute care medical telemetry role provides high-quality, individualized patient care within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. They ensure safety, promote evidence-based practices, and uphold professional standards in a clinical environment supported by leadership and shared governance. Key Responsibilities Perform nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on clinical standards and evidence-based practice. Deliver patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, respecting cultural differences. Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and goal setting. Coordinate safe care delivery, ensuring thorough documentation and fostering teamwork and collaboration. Participate in performance improvement, research activities, and professional development; serve as a mentor or preceptor. Support resource planning, protocol development, and adherence to safety standards and policies. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing; licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in single or multi-state license. Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience. Current BLS certification. Strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills. Proficiency in clinical technology and basic computer skills. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, respond to emergencies calmly, and practice ethically and professionally.
