## Job description

Role Summary: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care within a neuro acute care setting. Working as part of an interdisciplinary team, they assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practices. They collaborate effectively with patients, families, and team members, ensuring care is culturally sensitive and tailored to individual needs. Responsibilities Perform nursing processes to deliver individualized clinical care, promoting optimal patient outcomes. Partner with patients and significant others through communication methods like bedside reports and education, focusing on patient goals. Coordinate and document safe, quality care, fostering teamwork, inclusivity, and respectful clinical environments. Support performance improvement, research activities, and evidence-based practice initiatives. Participate in developing protocols, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and safety goals. Mentor and serve as a preceptor for nursing staff and students, promoting workforce development. Proactively plan patient care across the continuum, utilizing resources efficiently and effectively. Qualifications & Skills Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; Bachelors preferred. Active RN license (single-state or multi-state Compact) and BLS certification required. Experience in direct patient care preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking, time management, and proficiency with clinical technology. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies professionally.
