## Job description

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care for Orthopedic Surgery, working full-time night shifts. Responsibilities Provide individualized, high-quality, safe patient care within an interdisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based practice and critical thinking. Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care sensitive to cultural and population-specific needs. Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making. Coordinate and document safe care, promote teamwork, and support performance improvement initiatives. Mentor and serve as a preceptor for peers and students, fostering professional development. Engage in evidence-based practice, research activities, and policy adherence to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Assist in protocol development and resource management to optimize care quality and efficiency. Qualifications & Skills Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Less than one year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and commitment to professional growth required.
