## Job description

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care - Ortho Surgical, full-time night shift. Responsibilities Provide individualized, high-quality, safe patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices. Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations and cultural needs. Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education, focusing on patient goals. Coordinate care, document accurately, and promote a respectful, inclusive clinical environment. Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and uphold clinical standards and policies. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a skilled nursing workforce and a healthy work environment. Engage in professional development, maintain competencies, and adhere to ethical and legal standards. Contribute to protocol development and resource management to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred). Current RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact). BLS certification required upon hire. Less than one year of clinical experience preferred, with completion of accredited nursing program. Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
