## Job description

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care - Ortho Surgical, providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities Perform nursing processes—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practice and critical thinking. Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient needs and preferences. Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making. Coordinate and document safe, quality care, promoting teamwork, inclusivity, and adherence to clinical standards. Support performance improvement, research, and evidence-based initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a skilled, professional nursing workforce. Participate in protocol development, resource management, and compliance with policies and safety standards. Qualifications Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Baccalaureate preferred. Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact). Current BLS certification; additional certifications required upon hire. Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, preferably including direct patient care. Skills Proficiency in English, with strong interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills. Ability to operate technology and demonstrate excellent time management. Decisiveness, resilience, and composure in emergency situations. Critical thinking and analytical skills to deliver evidence-based nursing care.
