## Job description

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care, specializing in Ortho Surgical, working full-time during night shifts. Responsibilities Include Providing high-quality, individualized, and safe patient care within an interdisciplinary team. Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices. Partnering with patients and families through effective communication, education, and culturally sensitive care. Ensuring compliance with clinical standards, policies, and ethical guidelines. Promoting teamwork, collaboration, and participation in performance improvement initiatives. Mentoring and serving as a preceptor to other nurses and healthcare staff. Engaging in professional development, research, and evidence-based practice activities. Supporting resource management and contributing to protocol development for optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred). Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Less than one year of clinical experience or completion of an accredited nursing program. Knowledge of nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and patient-centered care principles. Key Duties: Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care, collaborate with healthcare teams, support quality improvement, and uphold professional standards to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
