## Job description

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care - Ortho Surgical, full-time night shift. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centered care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, communicate effectively with patients and families, and practice evidence-based standards. Promote teamwork, participate in performance improvement, and support clinical research and best practices. Develop protocols, ensure resource efficiency, and uphold safety and compliance standards. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience. Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire. Associate or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, respond to emergencies, and demonstrate critical thinking and time management skills. Proficiency in clinical technology and basic computer skills. Additional duties include: mentoring staff, participating in performance improvement initiatives, and adhering to all organizational policies and standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
