## Job description

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care with a focus on Orthopedic Surgery, working part-time night shifts. Responsibilities: Provide individualized, high-quality, safe patient care within an interdisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based practices and the nursing process. Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with patients and families. Coordinate care through documentation, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient education. Promote safe, quality outcomes through participation in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based initiatives. Support resource management, develop protocols, and adhere to organizational policies and standards. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years RN experience with direct patient care preferred. Current RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification required. Associates or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred. Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills essential. Proficiency in technology and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are necessary. Key Skills: Leadership in clinical practice, teamwork, compliance with regulations, and commitment to continuous professional development. Ability to adapt care to cultural diversity and maintain a respectful, inclusive environment.
