## Job description

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care within an interdisciplinary team, focusing on orthopedic surgical patients during night shifts. Key Responsibilities Performs comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on evidence-based practice. Delivers relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations and cultural needs. Partners with patients and families through effective communication and education, ensuring patient goals guide care plans. Coordinates and documents safe, quality care, promoting teamwork, respectful communication, and clinical environment inclusivity. Contributes to performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice activities. Supports resource planning, protocol development, and adherence to policies and safety standards. Serves as a preceptor or mentor to foster a competent, future-ready nursing workforce. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 5 years RN experience with direct patient care preferred. Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred. Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required. Strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, time management, and technological skills. Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments and respond effectively to emergencies.
