## Job description

This role is for a registered nurse specializing in acute care for orthopedic surgery, working full-time night shifts on weekends. Key Responsibilities Include Performing comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, and evaluation using evidence-based practices Delivering patient-centered, culturally sensitive care tailored to individual needs Collaborating effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams through communication methods like rounds and patient education Practicing according to current clinical standards and promoting safety and quality outcomes Supporting performance improvement initiatives and participating in research activities Mentoring colleagues and serving as a resource to ensure a qualified future workforce Developing protocols to optimize patient outcomes and resource use Ensuring compliance with policies, safety standards, and legal regulations Qualifications And Skills Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Current RN license (single state or multi-state compact) BLS certification Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience Strong critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills Join to contribute in a supportive environment dedicated to compassionate care, excellence, and professional growth.
