## Job description

Role Summary: The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary care team, providing individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care in a clinical setting supported by evidence-based practice and organizational models. They ensure compliance with licensing, ethical standards, and system policies while advocating for patient voices and service excellence. Responsibilities: Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based standards. Deliver patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations and foster collaboration with patients and families through effective communication methods. Teamwork & Collaboration: Coordinate safe care delivery, promote respectful interdisciplinary communication, participate in performance improvement, and support shared governance to enhance patient outcomes. Professional Development: Complete ongoing competency assessments, serve as a mentor, and model professional nursing practices to ensure a skilled workforce. Evidence-Based Practice & Research: Advocate for research and performance improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with healthcare standards, and participate in clinical data collection and protocol development. Resources & Support: Plan care across the continuum, develop protocols, and optimize resource utilization to improve patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills: Requires an Associate or Bachelor’s Nursing degree, RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and minimum of 5 years of RN experience, preferably in direct patient care. Must have strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills, with the ability to respond effectively in fast-paced environments.
