## Job description

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Med Surg RN to join a high-impact, multi-campus care team supporting patient care through a flexible float position. Key Responsibilities Deliver personalized, evidence-based nursing care from assessment to evaluation, ensuring exemplary patient outcomes. Establish meaningful connections with patients and families, respecting their values and care goals. Foster a safe, collaborative environment, contribute to performance improvement initiatives, and participate in shared governance. Lead in applying evidence-based practices, participate in research, and support continuous quality improvement. Plan proactively for patient care, help develop protocols, and ensure efficient use of resources. Mentor fellow nurses and interdisciplinary team members, supporting professional growth. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current RN license (single or multi-state compact). BLS and ACLS certifications required; national specialty certification preferred. Minimum of 2+ years recent Med Surg experience with proficiency in data entry and familiarity with Epic and 3M systems preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills, with ability to remain calm under pressure. Comfortable with Microsoft Office and basic technology tools. Additional Attributes: Passion for making a difference, team-oriented mindset, commitment to ongoing education, and ability to manage fast-paced clinical situations.
