Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Tbilisi, responsible for driving sales performance and ensuring the achievement of revenue and margin targets. This position oversees daily store or department sales activities, including setting sales goals, monitoring key performance indicators, and implementing promotional strategies. The Sales Manager leads and develops a sales team, providing coaching, feedback, and scheduling support to maintain strong customer service standards and efficient operations. The role collaborates with merchandising, marketing, and supply chain teams to optimize product mix, stock levels, and in-store displays. The Sales Manager also analyzes sales reports, identifies opportunities for growth, and contributes to strategic planning while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety procedures. Qualifications Strong sales management and retail operations skills, including goal setting, performance monitoring, and sales planning. Leadership and people management capabilities, with experience in coaching, team development, and conflict resolution. Proficiency in customer service and relationship-building, with the ability to handle customer feedback and ensure positive shopping experiences. Analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting sales data, forecasting demand, and making data-driven decisions. Organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and oversee multiple activities simultaneously. Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments and present information clearly. Experience in retail or FMCG environments; prior supervisory or managerial experience is strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous. Comfort with using POS systems, basic office software, and sales reporting tools. Ability to work on-site in Tbilisi, with flexibility for peak retail hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
