## Job description

Role Overview: Responsible for unloading products from trucks, breaking down pallets, and organizing items for storage or shipment. Assists with warehouse tasks such as sanitation, inventory control, and equipment maintenance. May operate industrial equipment like pallet jacks and perform truck fueling, washing, or cleaning based on the distribution center needs. Key Duties Unload trucks, break down pallets, and organize products onto warehouse racks or pick slots. Handle cases, boxes, and pallets of various grocery and produce items, ensuring proper placement. Assist with sanitation, cleaning warehouse areas, and maintaining a safe environment. Operate warehouse equipment safely, report damages, and verify product accuracy. Participate in product rotation, move items to dock areas, and support order selection and packing. Lift products weighing 30-75 lbs., with adherence to safety protocols. Follow safety policies, work in multi-temperature environments, and perform additional assigned tasks. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Warehouse experience and operating industrial equipment preferred. Ability to lift heavy loads, follow instructions, and work independently in a fast-paced setting. Effective communication in English, basic math, and reading skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Ability to work safely, in different temperature zones, and handle physical demands. Physical & Environmental Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 75 lbs.; exposure to moderate to high noise levels; work in changing temperature environments; and adherence to safety practices are essential.
