Role Description The School Principal will provide overall leadership and management of the Montessori School of Georgia, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. This full-time, on-site role in Tbilisi includes overseeing daily school operations, supporting teachers, and maintaining alignment with Montessori principles and the school’s holistic educational mission. The principal will lead curriculum planning, supervise instructional quality, manage staff performance, and coordinate with families and the wider community. Responsibilities also include student enrollment processes, scheduling, budget oversight in collaboration with leadership, and ensuring compliance with relevant educational policies and standards. The principal will regularly observe classrooms, provide feedback, facilitate professional development, and serve as the primary point of contact for students, caregivers, and external partners. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Educational Leadership skills, including school management and team supervision. Candidates should possess Curriculum Development and Education skills to design, implement, and refine learning programs. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for engaging students, families, staff, and external stakeholders. Candidates should possess experience working with Middle School learners and understanding of age-appropriate pedagogy. Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field. Knowledge of Montessori philosophy and experience in Montessori or child-centered schools is highly beneficial. Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive, non-discriminatory school culture that supports diverse learners. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with proficiency in basic digital tools for school administration.
