Security Manager – Pakistan Location: Pakistan Company: Mitigate Risk Company Description Mitigate Risk is a security risk management and intelligence consultancy supporting NGOs, international organizations, and businesses operating in complex and high-risk environments. We provide practical security assessments, planning, training, intelligence analysis, and operational support. Our approach is tailored to each client and focused on workable solutions—not generic reports or plans that exist only on paper. Role Description Mitigate Risk is seeking an experienced Security Manager based in Pakistan to support client operations, security projects, and business development in the country. The Security Manager will assess operating environments, provide reliable security advice, develop practical plans, and help clients protect their people, programmes, and assets. The role requires strong local knowledge, sound judgement, discretion, and the ability to work directly with senior leaders and field teams. Key Responsibilities Monitor and assess security developments across Pakistan. Conduct threat, vulnerability, and security risk assessments. Prepare security reports, alerts, briefings, and recommendations. Develop and review security plans, contingency plans, and procedures. Advise clients on travel, programme delivery, and operational risks. Support incident and crisis management when required. Conduct site assessments, training, and simulation exercises. Establish and maintain reliable local information networks. Build relationships with NGOs, international organizations, businesses, and security partners. Represent Mitigate Risk professionally and support the development of new opportunities in Pakistan. Qualifications and Experience At least five years of relevant experience in security risk management, intelligence, crisis management, humanitarian security, law enforcement, military service, or a related field. Strong understanding of Pakistan’s security, political, and operational environment. Practical experience conducting security risk assessments and developing security plans. Ability to analyse information and produce clear, concise, and actionable reports. Experience supporting NGOs, international organizations, or multinational companies is strongly preferred. Strong communication, coordination, and relationship-management skills. Professional working proficiency in English and Urdu. Knowledge of additional local languages is an advantage. Ability to work independently, manage sensitive information, and exercise sound judgement. Willingness and ability to travel within Pakistan when required. Relevant university degree or professional security qualification is preferred, although substantial operational experience may be considered in its place.
