Hello Colleagues!

**I"m looking for Security Engineer (SOC)

-Location: Kraków preferred**; candidates from other **locations in Poland are also considered**
-Type of work: Full-time\Remote.
-Contract B2B .

Building and securing a modern fintech payments platform. Looking for a hands-on Security Engineer to own threat detection, incident response, security automation, and platform security controls.

**Must have:**
• Strong AWS security experience (Lambda, WAF/WAFv2, GuardDuty, Inspector2, CloudWatch Logs Insights, Secrets Manager)
• Python for building and maintaining security detection and automation tools
• Solid understanding of web application and API security (OWASP, IDOR, authorization bypass, API abuse)
• Linux system administration, including patch management and hardening
• Hands-on incident response experience, including log forensics, root-cause analysis, and attack timeline reconstruction
• Ability to independently build, maintain, and improve security detection systems

**Nice to have:**
• Fintech/payments experience and familiarity with PCI DSS
• Ability to review application code (PHP/Laravel, Angular) to assess authorization and security logic
• Experience developing security policies and conducting access reviews

**Additional details:**
• Location: Kraków (priority), candidates from other Poland locations are also considered
• Direct hire preferred
• Hands-on, build-and-operate role covering threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, WAF tuning, credential rotation, and security policies
• Level: Mid–Senior; independent ownership expected, not just SOC alert monitoring and escalation
