Serve as the Senior Accountant responsible for event profitability analysis and financial reporting. Partner closely with leadership, operations, box office, and food & beverage teams. Gain exposure to ticketing revenue, concessions, merchant services, event settlements, inventory, and tax compliance. Take ownership of monthly event-level profit and loss reporting. Work across multiple financial and operational systems, building broad accounting expertise. Help strengthen internal controls, improve reporting processes, and drive operational efficiencies. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly event-level profit and loss statements as the Senior Accountant supporting venue operations. Reconcile ticketing, food and beverage, merchant service, banking, and accounts receivable transactions across multiple systems. Manage event deposits, advances, deferred revenue, prepayments, and related accounting activity. Prepare sales and use tax filings, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close documentation. Investigate discrepancies, resolve financial variances, and maintain organized, audit-ready support. Collaborate with operational staff, vendors, and finance personnel to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a comparable accounting role. Strong background preparing profit and loss statements, financial reports, reconciliations, and month-end close documentation. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, financial analysis, and data reconciliation. Experience working with accounting systems, banking platforms, payment processors, POS systems, ticketing software, or ERP solutions. Preferred Experience Experience as a Senior Accountant within performing arts, entertainment, hospitality, convention center, arena, theater, or live-event environments. Experience with ticketing and point-of-sale platforms such as Spektrix, Clover Sport, Bypass, or similar systems. Merchant service reconciliations, credit card settlement activity, chargeback management, and payment processing. Georgia sales and use tax compliance. Food & beverage, concession, inventory, or hospitality-related accounting experience. #INOCT2026
