We combine technology-driven tools with practical financial expertise to provide our clients with reliable accounting and timely information for decision-making. About the Role We are looking for a Senior Accountant who will lead a team of several accountants and be responsible for the quality, timeliness, and day-to-day coordination of accounting and tax services provided to client companies. The role requires both team management and hands-on professional involvement in complex matters. Key Responsibilities Plan and distribute the workload of accountants, monitor performance, and support the team with ongoing tasks; Oversee the processing of primary documentation and its accurate recording in accounting systems (1C, Balance, QuickBooks, Oris, Fina, and others); Supervise the process of issuing and confirming electronic documents on RS.GE, including invoices; Review the accuracy of VAT, income tax, and profit tax returns and ensure their timely submission; Monitor tax calendar deadlines and other mandatory reporting requirements; Oversee bank statement reconciliation and the accurate classification of transactions; Review reports to be submitted to the National Statistics Office of Georgia; Communicate with clients regarding ongoing accounting and tax matters; Provide professional support to the team, share knowledge, and integrate new team members into the workflow; Identify accounting and tax risks and contribute to improving internal controls. Requirements At least 7 years of experience in accounting, including a minimum of 2 years in a Senior Accountant position; Practical knowledge of Fina; Experience working with accounting in the restaurant industry; Experience managing at least 2 accountants/assistants; Strong knowledge of Georgian tax legislation and accounting principles; Proficiency in English and Russian; Proficiency in Excel, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines; Experience participating in the implementation of accounting software within a company. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing multiple clients simultaneously and working in an outsourcing environment; Knowledge of Fina, Balance, and QuickBooks; Practical experience with restaurant inventory, cost accounting, and sales accounting.
