Senior BI Analyst

We are seeking a proficient Senior BI Analyst to enhance our team of professionals who steer data-driven digital transformation across international projects spanning oil & gas, finance, retail and distribution, e-commerce, life sciences & healthcare, and more. In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of elicitation activities, collaborating closely with business and IT stakeholders, while independently driving the creation of high-quality deliverables that ensure clarity, accuracy, and reliability in all documentation and analysis. Responsibilities Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of dashboards, interactive charts, and reports following visualization best practices Collaborate with the development team in end-to-end data migration and modernization projects, including ETL processes, data extraction, transformation, and loading Lead meetings and workshops with clients and stakeholders to define and prioritize business needs Translate requirements into actionable insights, fostering seamless collaboration with the delivery team throughout the project lifecycle Perform data discovery, data assessment, and data profiling using SQL queries Prepare source-to-target mappings, data models, data flows and related requirements documentation Define and organize backlogs with epics, features, and stories Participate in and drive Agile ceremonies including Sprint Reviews, Daily Stand-Ups, Planning, Refinements, and Retrospectives Conduct User Acceptance Testing with customer stakeholders Prepare high-quality post-development and post-production materials Monitor and ensure the quality and reliability of deliverables, working independently and in collaboration with the development team and customer stakeholders Requirements 5+ years of experience in data-related projects such as data migration, data transformation, data governance, BI, and AI 3+ years of expertise in handling BI, DWH, Data and Analytical project requirements including gathering, documenting, presenting, estimating, and prioritizing Proficiency in end-to-end data and analytics project delivery using Agile and Waterfall methodologies Proven experience in working with large datasets and performing data profiling using SQL queries Strong understanding of DWH fundamentals, Data Modeling and Data Quality Proficiency in preparing source-to-target mappings for data ingestion, curation, and related processes Experience in BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau for data transformation, modeling, and visualization Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the customer's communication language Ability to produce high-quality documentation and reports Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision and lead client interactions English proficiency at B2 level or higher Nice to have Experience with data on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS and GCP Ability to create prototypes and mock-ups Familiarity with the Data Governance framework Experience collaborating with data scientists and defining requirements for AI-focused features Familiarity with AI tools for BI analysis, information elicitation, documentation, agile workflows and data analysis Industry knowledge in oil and gas, finance, insurance, supply chain or marketing Ability to act as a Data Product Owner in analytical projects We offer We connect like-minded people Delivering innovative solutions to industry leaders, making a global impact Enjoyable working environment, whether it is the vibrant office or the comfort of your own home Opportunity to work abroad for up to two months per year Relocation opportunities within our offices in 55+ countries Corporate and social events We invest in your growth Leadership development, career advising, soft skills and well-being programs Certifications, including GCP, Azure and AWS Unlimited access to EPAM's internal learning database Free English classes with certified teachers We cover it all Participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan Monetary bonuses for engaging in the referral program Comprehensive medical & family care package Five trust days per year (sick leave without a medical certificate) Benefits package (sports activities, a variety of stores and services) EPAM Georgia is a team of innovators united by a passion for technology.
