Define technical standards and make key architectural decisions. Troubleshoot production issues and performance bottlenecks. Conduct code and architecture reviews and mentor other engineers. Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams. Requirements 7+ years of experience in data engineering. Strong production experience with Spark, Airflow, and AWS Glue. Proven experience designing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and distributed data-processing solutions. Experience designing data lake or lakehouse architectures. Strong SQL and Python skills. Understanding of data modeling, partitioning, schema evolution, and data quality. Ability to independently own solutions from architecture through production support. Experience making technical decisions and providing guidance to other engineers.
