Senior Integration Engineer
Job description
We are seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to implement and support integrations between the AICA platform and operational systems, APIs, messaging infrastructure and external AI services. The role focuses on secure, scalable and resilient enterprise integration patterns within a GCP-based architecture. Responsibilities Design and implement integrations between AICA and operational platforms Development and maintenance of API integrations with systems such as GIA, Genesis, STAN, NADB and Message Broker Build and support asynchronous event-driven messaging workflows Configuration and management of integration patterns for high-volume shipment processing Implement API connectivity, authentication and secure communication mechanisms Support integration testing, connectivity validation and production deployment activities Collaborate with AI Engineers and Architects to integrate AI services into operational workflows Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize reliability, latency and throughput Assist with infrastructure provisioning and deployment automation activities Contribute to monitoring, alerting and operational governance setup Maintain technical documentation related to integrations, APIs and deployment configurations Requirements 3+ years of experience in enterprise system integration and API development Expertise in REST APIs, messaging systems and event-driven architectures Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and AI services Background in middleware, integration frameworks or API gateways Familiarity with JSON, YAML and OpenAPI specifications, along with asynchronous processing patterns Understanding of authentication and security protocols (OAuth2, IAM, service accounts) Proficiency in CI/CD and deployment automation Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in distributed environments Experience working in Agile teams and enterprise delivery environments English proficiency at B2 level or higher Nice to have Background in logistics domain integrations Knowledge of Google Cloud services including Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Firestore and Secret Manager Exposure to AI/ML platform integrations Familiarity with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices We offer We connect like-minded people Delivering innovative solutions to industry leaders, making a global impact Enjoyable working environment, whether it is the vibrant office or the comfort of your own home Opportunity to work abroad for up to two months per year Relocation opportunities within our offices in 55+ countries Corporate and social events We invest in your growth Leadership development, career advising, soft skills and well-being programs Certifications, including GCP, Azure and AWS Unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning and Udemy Free English classes with certified teachers We cover it all Participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan Monetary bonuses for engaging in the referral program Comprehensive medical & family care package Five trust days per year (sick leave without a medical certificate) Benefits package (sports activities, a variety of stores and services) EPAM Georgia is a team of innovators united by a passion for technology.
