Join TNET’s Digital Ecosystem as a Senior IT Operations Engineer (Automation & Infrastructure) Location: Tbilisi, Nutsubidze 129a Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Website: www.tnet.ge TNET is looking for a hands-on Senior IT Operations Engineer to improve, automate, and scale our technology infrastructure. This role focuses on infrastructure reliability, system optimization, automation, and operational excellence. We are looking for an engineer who combines strong IT Operations expertise with software development experience and DevOps practices to automate processes, improve existing systems, and build reliable operational solutions. Your Role at TNET: Analyze existing infrastructure, identify operational gaps, and implement improvements. Maintain and optimize production environments across cloud and on-premise infrastructure. Design and develop automation solutions to reduce manual operational tasks. Develop scripts, tools, and internal utilities to automate system administration and operational workflows. Apply software engineering principles to infrastructure automation and operational processes. Support infrastructure optimization, migrations, backups, and system improvements. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, system, and application-level issues. Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response processes. Implement CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and infrastructure automation. Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes, system reliability, and delivery workflows. Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system standards. What We Are Looking For: 5+ years of experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related roles. Strong hands-on experience managing and improving production infrastructure. Strong experience with automation and reducing manual operational processes. Software development experience is required — ability to write and maintain production-level code or automation tools using languages such as Python, Go, or similar. Experience applying software engineering practices to infrastructure automation and operational improvements. Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and continuous deployment processes. Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems. Experience with VMware vSphere, AWS, Veeam Backup, SAN storage, and server architecture. Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix or Checkmk and logging platforms such as ELK. Strong understanding of networking, infrastructure security, and system reliability principles. Ability to analyze complex systems, identify root causes, and simplify operational processes. Experience documenting technical solutions and operational procedures. Success in This Role Means: Reduced manual operational workload through automation.
