**
Hi! We are looking for a Senior Kafka / Event Streaming Architect for a 3-month Banking/FinTech project.

**Candidate locations:** All except Russia.
**Start date: **01 September 2026. **Duration: 3 months.**

**Scope**: Assessment and review of a large-scale distributed event-driven platform with a focus on Kafka architecture, reliability, scalability, and performance.

**Experience**:
- 6+ years in distributed systems / event streaming
- Strong Apache Kafka experience
- Topics and partitions
- Consumer groups
- Replication
- Rebalancing
- Producer/consumer patterns
- Event schemas and contracts
- Kafka monitoring and troubleshooting
- Understanding of event-driven architecture
- Experience analyzing Kafka-related production incidents
