## Job description

🔥 **Senior QA Automation Engineer**
**Elinext** is an international software development company with 25+ years of experience delivering custom software solutions and dedicated engineering teams for clients worldwide. We work across Healthcare, Fintech, Enterprise Software, Cloud, AI/ML, and other technology-driven domains.

We are currently looking for a **Senior QA Automation Engineer** to join a **legacy software modernization project for a German medical software company**.
The client is modernizing existing applications and improving software stability, quality, and engineering processes across several project streams.

📍 **Location:** Poland only
🏢 **Office:** Warsaw
🏠 **Work format:** remote or from the Warsaw office - your choice
📄 **Engagement:** B2B or incubator
🇬🇧 **English:** strong conversational level is mandatory

About the Role
This is a senior-level QA Automation position with a strong focus on **test strategy, automation framework development, performance testing, CI/CD integration, and modernization of complex enterprise applications**.
You will work on improving test coverage, reliability, performance, and engineering quality across legacy and modernized software components.

MUST HAVE
— Strong senior-level experience in **QA Automation** and test strategy
— Hands-on experience with:
— unit testing
— integration testing
— system testing
— UI testing
— API testing
— stress testing
— performance testing
— Programming skills in at least one of:
— Java
— C#
— Python
— TypeScript
— Experience designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks
— Strong understanding of **CI/CD pipelines and Git**
— Experience with tools such as **Ranorex, Playwright, Cypress, GitLab CI**
— Ability to identify performance bottlenecks and improve test reliability
— Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
— Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Especially Relevant Experience
— Java-based automation
— Selenium / REST Assured
— Playwright or Cypress frameworks built from scratch
— Performance and stress testing
— Complex enterprise applications
— Legacy modernization projects
— Test automation embedded into CI/CD workflows

AI-Assisted Development - Mandatory
The client explicitly requires practical experience with **AI-assisted / Agentic AI tools in the software development lifecycle**.
Relevant examples include:
— Claude Code
— Cursor
— AI-assisted test development
— Agentic workflows for development or QA automation

Important: simple familiarity with ChatGPT is **not enough**. We are looking for real hands-on usage in engineering workflows.
