**We’re Hiring: Senior QA Automation Engineer (Playwright + TypeScript)**

Location: Remote
Employment: Full-time
Client: Company based in Germany

**About the Project:**
The client is replacing its SAP cloud solution with a purpose-built, cloud-native ERP platform that manages the full lifecycle of the pawn business. You’ll be the only QA automation engineer on the project: you’ll build the UI E2E test framework from scratch, automate key business scenarios and set up a daily regression run. The project is long-term (at least through the end of 2027), well documented, and every major ticket has acceptance criteria written in Gherkin.

**Requirements:**
• 5+ years of commercial experience in test automation
• Strong TypeScript / JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with UI E2E test automation using Playwright
• Experience building a test automation framework from scratch
• Experience with BDD / Gherkin
• Ability to define a testing strategy: what to automate and at which level, and how to prioritize regression by business risk
• Experience setting up regression in CI from scratch: parallel runs, scheduling, reporting and failure notifications
• Experience maintaining a large regression suite: flaky tests, execution time, test data strategy
• Active use of AI tools in daily work, backed by strong core skills: you can write and debug tests without AI and take full ownership of test quality
• Independence: you make decisions yourself and align them with the architect
• English B2+
• Nice to have: German B1+
