Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Software QA Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Tbilisi. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital banking platforms through automated testing frameworks. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contribute to a modern automation infrastructure, and collaborate closely with developers, and product teams. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript. Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and resolve issues throughout the software lifecycle. Implement and optimize test automation as part of the CI/CD pipeline for faster and more reliable releases. Perform regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across web and API layers. Monitor and maintain test environments and results to ensure continuous test coverage. Contribute to improving QA standards, documentation, and best practices within the team. Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives as part of an agile workflow. Requirements Professional experience in QA automation. Proven hands-on experience with Playwright for automated testing. Experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD environments (e.g., GitHub Actions,,). Solid understanding of software development and testing principles, including Agile and DevOps methodologies. Experience testing web-based applications and APIs. Experience using Bruno or Postman Experience testing React native on both Android and iOS helpful but not required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and English communication skills. Proactive and adaptable — thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling environment. Nice to Have Experience with performance or security testing tools.
