Senior UI UX Designer

We are looking for an experienced Product Designer to take ownership of product design across a portfolio of established digital platforms serving highly engaged users in the financial and investment space. This is a long-term, ongoing engagement rather than a project-based assignment. The role is offered on a part-time retainer basis (approximately 2–3 days per week), with flexibility depending on workload, output, and mutual fit. You will work closely with Product Management and Engineering teams to design, improve, and scale products used daily by active users who rely on data-rich interfaces, research tools, and community-driven experiences. Responsibilities : Design new product features, user flows, and experiences across web and mobile applications Create intuitive solutions for complex, data-heavy user journeys Extend and evolve an existing multi-brand design system using shared components, variables, and design tokens Maintain consistency across multiple products while supporting distinct brand identities Design and improve experiences across stock monitoring tools, research pages, community platforms, mobile applications, and other product areas Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Frontend Engineers throughout the product lifecycle Deliver production-ready designs through Figma and Dev Mode handoff workflows Contribute to UX strategy, information architecture, interaction design, and usability improvements Help define scalable design patterns that reduce implementation complexity and improve development efficiency Advocate for user-centered design while balancing business and technical requirements Requirements: 5+ years of Product Design experience Experience in design of B2B and B2C products. Strong portfolio demonstrating work on complex digital products, ideally within fintech, financial services, trading platforms, SaaS, analytics, or other data-intensive environments Deep understanding of designing data-dense interfaces and workflows Familiarity with trading platforms, investment tools, market data products, or professional financial software is highly desirable Strong UX thinking with the ability to simplify complex workflows and information structures Proven experience designing scalable component-based systems Ability to think beyond individual screens and consider how patterns and components scale across multiple products and use cases Expert-level proficiency in Figma. Experience maintaining and extending design systems rather than only consuming them Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of design decisions Able to challenge assumptions, ask thoughtful questions, and provide constructive feedback when necessary
