Vind je het leuk om klanten te helpen en een specialistisch vak te leren? Dan is deze functie bij Rentokil iets voor jou. Als ongediertebestrijder krijg je een zelfstandige en afwisselende rol waarin je bedrijven en instellingen helpt met het bestrijden en voorkomen van plaagdieren. Je werkt met zeer uiteenlopende klanten, van restaurants en scholen tot fabrieken en luchthavens. Geen dag is hetzelfde en jij hebt de vrijheid om je eigen planning efficiënt in te delen. Met je Rentokil-bedrijfsbus bezoek je gemiddeld negen klanten per dag. Daar voer je inspecties uit, stel je diagnoses en bepaal je de beste aanpak. Dit kan betekenen dat je vallen plaatst voor muizen en ratten, wespennesten veilig verwijdert of een hardnekkige bedwantsenplaag aanpakt. Daarnaast tref je preventieve maatregelen en geef je klanten advies om plaagdieren buiten de deur te houden. Naast de bestrijding ligt de nadruk op preventie en klantadvies. Je bouwt langdurige relaties op en bent een vertrouwd aanspreekpunt voor je klanten. Je werkt zelfstandig, maar je kunt altijd terugvallen op collega’s en je leidinggevende voor overleg en ondersteuning. Je bent 28 tot 40 uur per week beschikbaar: Jouw werkweek is flexibel in te delen, in overleg met ons. We kijken graag samen naar wat het beste past bij jouw privé situatie. Gemiddeld genomen zijn onze collega's tussen 7:30 en 17:00 aan het werk. Je bent enthousiast: Ben jij een gedreven persoon die een nieuw vak wil leren en wil uitgroeien tot een expert in de plaagdierbeheersing? Je bent klantgericht: Het helpen van mensen is voor jou vanzelfsprekend en je stelt de klant altijd centraal. Je bent nauwkeurig en kan goed plannen: Je bent in staat om zelfstandig je werk te organiseren, problemen op te lossen en je dag succesvol in te plannen. Je bent communicatief sterk: Je kunt goed luisteren, helder communiceren en een sterk advies geven aan jouw klanten. Je bent flexibel: Je hebt aanpassingsvermogen en je vindt het leuk om op verschillende locaties te werken en ad-hoc taken op te pakken. Onverwachte situaties zijn voor jou een uitdaging, geen probleem. Je bent handig: Je bent praktisch ingesteld en draait je hand niet om voor klusjes zoals het legen van een muizenval of het aanbrengen van wering om ratten buiten te houden. Aanvullende informatie Wat Bieden Wij Jou: Salaris: Bij een 40-urige werkweek verdien je een bruto maandsalaris tussen € 2.964,- en € 3.520,-. Jouw exacte salaris wordt bepaald op basis van je prestaties. Vakantiedagen: Bovenop je 24 vakantiedagen kun je nog tot 6,5 dagen extra verlof bijkopen. Een smartphone van de zaak. Je krijgt een telefoon van de zaak die je zowel zakelijk als privé mag gebruiken. Een auto van de zaak: Je krijgt een mooie Opel Combo als auto van de zaak, die je ook privé mag gebruiken. Een goede werk-privé balans: Je bent verantwoordelijk voor je eigen planning, zolang je je werk goed uitvoert. Flexibiliteit is belangrijk voor ons. Wil je 's ochtends sporten en 's middags werken? Of wil je eerst je kind naar school brengen? Bij ons kan het allemaal. Veel opleidingsmogelijkheden: Wij betalen jouw 8-weekse opleiding tot gecertificeerd plaagdierbeheerser én bijvoorbeeld ook de certificaten die je nodig hebt, zoals VCA, VOP en hoogwerker. Doorgroeimogelijkheden: Bij Rentokil kun je doorgroeien tot een meer technische rol, zoals Senior Service Technicus, of zelfs een leidinggevende functie als Service Supervisor. Veel van onze huidige leidinggevenden zijn ooit in deze rol begonnen. Je werkt met de nieuwste en beste technieken en ontwikkelingen uit de wereld van de plaagdierbeheersing.
