Role Description The Shift Lead is a full-time, on-site role based at Episode Hotels in Tbilisi. This role oversees daily hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth coordination between front desk, housekeeping, and other onsite teams. The Shift Lead monitors check-in and check-out processes, supports self-service amenities, and responds promptly to guest inquiries and issues. They help manage staff schedules for the shift, provide guidance and coaching to team members, and ensure that brand standards and safety procedures are followed. The role also includes maintaining accurate shift reports, communicating operational updates to management, and identifying opportunities to improve guest experience and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor team members' performance and compliance with internal policies and established service standards, providing regular feedback • Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all processes throughout the shift • Oversee the timely and accurate completion of tasks and operational procedures within the hotel's management systems, providing feedback where necessary • Train and onboard new employees in accordance with the company's operational standards • Respond promptly and effectively to guest complaints and ensure proper reporting of all incidents • Manage and control cash handling and cashier operations • Prepare and maintain employee work schedules • Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock replenishment orders • Conduct stocktaking and inventory control, and maintain the organization of storage areas Qualifications and Skills: • Previous experience in the hospitality industry will be considered an advantage; • Strong communication and teamwork skills; • Professional, courteous, and service-oriented attitude ; • Strong attention to detail; • Excellent organizational and time management skills; • English language proficiency at B2 level.
