Green Olive Media Georgia Remote

Job description

Social Media Account Executive Hospitality Social Media | Full-time | Atlanta, Georgia Metro-Atlanta-based required; however, position is fully remote. About Green Olive Media Founded in 1998, Green Olive Media is an Atlanta-based agency specializing in hospitality. We partner with hotels, restaurants, chefs, and food-and-beverage brands on integrated social media, public relations, brand strategy, and design. The Position Green Olive Media is seeking a Social Media Account Executive to own the day-to-day planning and execution of social media for a portfolio of hospitality clients. Working closely with the Social Media Manager and our integrated PR and Design teams, this person will turn brand strategy into compelling content, organized calendars, responsive communities, and useful performance insights. The position offers exposure to broader campaigns and creative work, but the person who thrives here will be excited to deepen a career in social strategy, content, community management, and client service. What You Will Do • Own monthly content calendars and day-to-day execution for multiple hospitality brands. • Help develop channel strategies, content pillars, campaign concepts, and creative activations tied to client goals. • Write and edit platform-specific copy that protects each client's voice while inviting genuine engagement. • Manage the workflow from brief and asset collection through approvals, scheduling, publishing, and quality control. • Plan content shoots, build shot lists, capture mobile photo and video, and coordinate post-production and delivery. • Lead community management and social listening, responding thoughtfully and escalating sensitive issues when needed. • Analyze performance, prepare recurring reports, and translate metrics into clear recommendations for clients. • Coordinate creator, influencer, partnership, promotion, and user-generated-content initiatives. • Participate in client calls and presentations, communicate proactively, and help resolve account concerns. • Collaborate with PR and Design colleagues and contribute to new-business proposals and presentations. • Track platform changes and cultural trends, applying them with strategic judgment rather than chasing every shiny object. • Attend occasional Atlanta-area content shoots, openings, and events outside standard business hours. What You Bring • Two to four years of professional social media experience; agency experience is strongly preferred. • Experience managing multiple brands or client accounts concurrently. • Excellent writing, editing, organization, and editorial judgment. • A portfolio showing social copy, calendars, campaigns, content creation, or account results. • Working knowledge of Instagram and Facebook native analytics and social scheduling/reporting tools. • Comfort capturing and editing short-form video and photography; Canva or similar tools are a plus. • Confidence on client calls, good instincts under deadline, and a calm approach when managing multiple moving parts. • Hospitality, restaurant, hotel, food-and-beverage, or lifestyle experience is a plus. • Georgia residency and the ability to attend Atlanta-area meetings, shoots, and events as needed. • A bachelor's degree in a related field. What Success Looks Like • Within 90 days, you can independently manage assigned accounts, calendars, approvals, publishing, and reporting. • Client work is consistently on time, on brand, and supported by proactive communication. • Content reflects a real understanding of hospitality and each client's guest experience. • Reports move beyond data recaps and surface useful, actionable insights. • You are a trusted partner to the Social Media Manager, clients, and the broader GOM team. Compensation, Schedule, and Benefits • Flexible remote work within Georgia, requiring attendance at client shoots, meetings, and events. • 21 company holidays and 20 personal days, with the personal-day program scaling after the first year. • Company-paid dental, vision, and life insurance, plus 50% company-paid medical coverage with HSA options. • 3% company retirement account match after one year. • Parental leave of up to 12 weeks. How to Apply Please email the following to [email protected] with the subject line "Social Media Account Executive": • Your resume. • A portfolio or representative work samples. • A brief note explaining why you want to continue building your career in hospitality social media. • Two or three social accounts you have worked on, with a sentence describing your role on each.
