## Job description

We consider ONLY candidates residing in the following countries due to the projects` team location: Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan. We are looking for a hands-on Linux System Administrator with VoIP experience to manage, deploy, and maintain our telephony infrastructure. This role combines Linux system administration with practical VoIP engineering. You will be responsible for configuring telephony systems, maintaining server infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing improvements to ensure stable and reliable operations. Responsabilities: Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux-based servers (Debian/Ubuntu). Install, configure, and administer Asterisk-based telephony systems. Set up and manage SIP trunks, extensions, endpoints, and call routing. Configure dial plans, IVR menus, call queues, and call forwarding scenarios. Integrate telephony systems with backend services, CRM platforms, and third-party APIs. Work with Asterisk AMI/ARI interfaces and automate routine tasks. Monitor server performance, system availability, and VoIP infrastructure health. Troubleshoot SIP/RTP connectivity, call-quality issues, and network-related incidents. Analyze system logs and network traffic to identify and resolve technical problems. Manage databases related to call records and telephony services. Maintain server security, firewalls, backups, and infrastructure stability. Implement system updates, improvements, and new telephony features. Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with development teams. Requirments: 2+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator, VoIP Engineer, or in a similar technical role. Practical experience administering Linux servers (Debian/Ubuntu). Hands-on experience with Asterisk is preferred. Strong understanding of SIP, RTP, NAT, codecs, and VoIP networking. Experience configuring SIP trunks, call routing, and dial plans. Knowledge of Linux services, networking, firewalls, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Asterisk AMI/ARI or similar telephony APIs. Basic SQL knowledge and experience with MySQL/MariaDB. Understanding of server security, monitoring, and backup procedures. Ability to independently investigate and resolve technical issues. Russian language proficiency for communication with the team.
